This is my 11th year teaching at Wellesley High School, a secondary institution which fully encourages and supports one's scholarly pursuits.
My educational background (graduate and undergrad) is in psychology, developmental studies and education. Currently, I teach Developmental Studies and Digital Publication & Design (Yearbook) at Wellesley High School. I am also an adjunct professor for the School of Education at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am assigned to teach lower level Graduate courses in Early Childhood and Elementary Education including:
5122 Psycho-social Perspectives in Education, 5131 Developmental Learning, 6109 Observation, Documentation & Assessment and 5120 Young Children with Special Needs.
My current research interests include MLV Making Learning Visible, Reggio Schools, national school reform initiatives, using technology in the classroom, integrating dynamic instruction with brain-based teaching strategies and documenting evidence-based educational performance outcomes.
